We understand that for most people the cost of having their teeth straightened is a significant outlay. We want to make treatment as affordable as possible and aim to provide you with a treatment plan to suit your budget.
Everyone has different Orthodontic needs. The cost of braces therefore varies depending on the complexity of your case and the type of appliance you will be wearing.
We will provide an exact quote on your initial consultation, once we have had a chance to carry out a brief examination to assess your specific Orthodontic needs.
Our prices include all of your routine appointments during treatment and follow up appointments for 1 year after your brace is removed. A set of retainers following treatment is also included in the fee.
Most patients undertake payment plans, which help spread the cost of treatment over the course of treatment. The payment plans are flexible, but ordinarily involve an initial up front deposit with the remainder spread over the course of treatment. The payment plans do not incur any interest. The payment plan is agreed prior to treatment and is tailored to suit your needs.
Orthodontic treatment qualifies for tax relief. This means if you pay Income tax in Ireland (including through PAYE) you can claim a tax refund of up to 20% of your treatment fees. By way of example: €3,000 worth of treatment attracts €600 worth of tax relief = Net cost of treatment €2,400.
Parents/guardians are also entitled to claim a refund on behalf of their children. We will provide you with the necessary Med2 form to help make the tax refund claim as easy as possible at the appropriate time.
